Boxing fans have heaped praise on Tyson Fury after he emphatically finished his world title fight against Dillian Whyte in the sixth round at Wembley on Saturday night.

Fury controlled the bout from start to finish, and found the decisive punch just before the halfway stage, delivering a lightning fast uppercut to send Whyte to the canvas.

Whyte tried to get back to his feet, but was unable to continue, leaving fans to marvel at Fury’s power.

Fury managed to cause Deontay Wilder plenty of damage by consistently using a right hook to the side of the American’s face in their epic trilogy.

This time it was an uppercut that saw off Whyte, and one onlooker admitted he was surprised by the way the fight ended.

‘Fury with an insane uppercut. Wow. I didn’t call that one. Not surprised by the knockout. But by uppercut? wow. Is Fury going to sing now?’ they wrote on social media.

Fury did indeed sing after his victory, serenading the sell-out crowd at Wembley with the popular hit ‘American Pie’, as he celebrated maintaining his undefeated record.
