WFAA reports the Army is working on universal COVID-19 vaccine. Dr. Fauci says it will be years before one is potentially available.
There are 3,231 patients with COVID-19 in North Texas hospitals, which is a 176 patient decrease from yesterday. There is a total of 13,244 inpatients in the hospitals which includes COVID-19 and non-COVID-19 patients. COVID-19 patients account for 40.7 percent of adult ICU patients, says DFW Hospital Council CEO Steve Love.
NBC News says that the Pfizer vaccine for kids under 5 should be ready by the end of February. Currently children under 5 are the only group ineligible for vaccination. Read more of the story here.
