The Golden State Warriors sit one win away from another NBA Finals appearance, with the Dallas Mavericks in a 0-3 hole heading into Game 4 on Wednesday (AEST).
Despite Luka Doncic’s best efforts throughout the Western Conference Finals, the Mavericks have been unable to find any sort of consistency on the offensive end, while struggling to slow down Steph Curry and co. at the other.
With the knowledge that no team has ever come back from 0-3 in NBA post-season history, Doncic and the Mavs must pick themselves up, or risk being swept.

For Curry, Klay Thompson, and Draymond Green, a sixth NBA Finals appearance awaits, after injuries cruelled the last two years in San Francisco.
If the Warriors can secure the sweep, they’ll secure some much-needed rest heading into the decider, with Boston and Miami locked in a series that is already guaranteed to go six games, and likely to last seven.
Heading into the game, Warriors head coach Steve Kerr put things in perspective, refusing to answer basketball questions, as he delivered an impassioned plea to stop gun violence in the United States.
Kerr’s message comes after another school shooting, this time in Texas, the home state of the Mavericks.
