MTV’s “The Real World” is one of television’s longest running reality shows that lured audiences with a heavy handed shock factor that would often both appall and amuse fans of the show since its conception in the 1990s.
And now, one of the houses from the series has landed on the real estate market in New Orleans for $3.9 million.
Some will remember the six-bedroom, 7.5-plus bathroom Louisiana home from Season 24 of the show, which featured a bunch of strangers living in the 8,202-square-foot residence. The home is actually located only a short distance from the New Orleans house featured in the ninth season of the show.
According to RealWorldHouses.com, the home was also featured on “MTV Cribs” when it was owned by former basketball player Baron Davis.
The house has plenty of high-end features including:
-
Two-story foyer
-
Laundry room
-
Open kitchen
-
High ceilings
-
Media room
-
Original hardwood floors
-
Historic millwork
-
Balconies
-
Gated car parking
-
Swimming pool
The party appeal of the house seen in the show has been replaced with old fashion elegance and is considered a “private oasis” by the house’s listing on Realtor.com.
